Definition: A hazardous situation is linked to a risk, and contains a group of preventive measures that have already been identified.

When analysing the risks of an activity in his operation, an operations manager who ticks a situation will have all the associated measures pre-selected.

To create a new dangerous situation:

Go to Situations in the left-hand menu

Identify the ‘parent’ risk in the risk selector
Enter the name of the new situation in the search bar
Click on the ‘+’ at the end of the line on the right to add it.

Once the danger situation has been created, you can link existing measures to it (because they are linked to the parent risk) or create measures specific to this situation:

Deploy the situation
Click on Selection
If there are measures already linked to the ‘parent’ risk, they will appear and can be ticked to relate them to your situation.
You can add new measures specific to this dangerous situation. Don't forget to click on the ‘+’ on the right.
By clicking on List (sort) you can organise your measurements in the correct order.
